Privacy Policy

Information on data processing  


pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 679/2016 ("GDPR")

pursuant to Art. 38b of the Swiss Code of Obligations as well as the Federal Data Protection Act ("LDP")

As provided for in the applicable legislation (including the Federal Law on the processing of personal data "LPD"), in the European Union Regulation no. 679/2016 (hereinafter "GDPR") and in particular art. 13, below we provide you with the information required by law concerning the processing of your personal data.

What data we process (Art. 13, para. 1, letter a, Art. 15, letter b, GDPR) 

Arca24.com SA, with registered office in Via Roncaglia 5, CH-6883 Novazzano, acts as Data Controller and collects and/or receives information about you, such as:  

1.Data contained in the registration forms (name, surname, tax code, place and date of birth, physical and telematic address, fixed and/or mobile telephone number); 

2.Data from navigation on our website, such as: traffic data, possible location, visits to the website, weblog, IP address, operating system used, browser used, cookies; 

3.Data that you send us through correspondence/email/surveys or other contact forms. 


What we use your data for (Art. 13, para. 1, letter c, d, e, f, GDPR) 

We use your data to give you access to the system.

In particular, your data will be processed for: 

1. Activities relating to the improvement of the services referred to in point 1) above provided both online and offline by the Controller.

The legal basis for these activities is the fulfilment of pre-contractual and contractual measures to which you are a party as well as the legitimate interest of the Controller.

2.Commercial communication activities, information, newsletters, surveys and customer care. 

The legal basis for these activities is your consent to such processing, which you may revoke at any time. 


 

What happens if you do not provide your data? (art. 13, 2nd paragraph, letter e, GDPR) 

The collection and processing of your data is necessary to provide the service and to manage and fulfil legal obligations. 

Failure to provide them will make it impossible for the Controller to manage the contract. 

How long will your data be stored? (art. 13, 2nd paragraph, letter a, GDPR) 

Personal data is kept for the time necessary to perform the activities related to the management of the contract and for the fulfilment of the obligations, including legal obligations, that follow. Your personal data entered on the Controller's website are deleted after a period of inactivity of 36 months. 

How we process your data (art. 13, 2nd paragraph, letter f, GDPR) 

Data processing is carried out using paper media or computer procedures by specially authorised and trained internal parties. The data processing does not involve automated decision-making processes, while there may be profiling for activities related to website navigation through technical tools such as cookies.

What are your rights? (Art. 13, 1st paragraph, letter b, and 2nd paragraph, letter b, GDPR)  

Basically you, at any time and free of charge and without any particular charges or formalities for your request, can ask the Controller to: 

-obtain confirmation of the processing of your personal data; 

-access your personal data and know their origin (when the data are not obtained directly from you), the purposes and aims of the processing, the data of the subjects to whom they are communicated, the period of storage of your data or the criteria used to determine it; 

-update or rectify your personal data so that they are always exact and accurate; 

-delete, in the cases provided for by law, your personal data or request the limitation of their processing; 

-obtain a copy of your personal data.

Any requests will be processed within one month of receipt at the latest, without prejudice to the possibility of extending this period for a further two months, if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests received by the Controller and in any case within the limits established by the applicable regulations.
